Downriver Helping Hands, Inc. works to alleviate need in the downriver area of St. Clair County, Michigan (including Marine City, Algonac and St. Clair). Emergency food is provided on an as-needed basis. Clothing, furniture and miscellaneous household items are also collected and distributed during the year. Our target groups include the "working poor," single parents, retirees on fixed incomes and anyone who asks for our assistance.

We need food for the baskets. Donations of desserts for the dinners are always welcome. We also need items to raffle, individuals to sell tickets, distribute flyers, and a million other tasks.
